Sealed bids will be received at the Office of the City of Memphis Purchasing Agent, Room 354, City
Hall, 125 N. Main, Memphis, TN 38103, until 12:00 p.m., July 20, 2021 for furnishing the City of
Memphis with the following:
FOR THE DIVISION OF: FIRE SERVICES
FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF: FY21 Armour Center Bed Hall Renovations
Pre-Bid Information:
A MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING WILL BE HELD ON June 29, 2021 AT 10:00 AM AT THE FIRE
TRAINING ACADEMY MAIN CONFERENCE ROOM, LOCATED AT 4341 ACADEMY DR., MEMPHIS
TN 38127.
Project Description:
1. Remove existing interior and exterior doors where specified on the architectural drawings.
2. Remove existing window from specified location and infill to match existing.
3. Partially remove interior walls as specified on the architectural drawings.
4. Remove existing toilet partitions as specified on the architectural drawings.
5. Remove existing Mechanical, Plumbing, and Electrical as specified on the architectural drawings.
6. Remove existing stairs and stair rails as specified on architectural drawings.
7. ACM removed from specific locations by others.
8. Install new concrete floor slab as specified on architectural drawings.
9. Install new interior walls as specified on architectural drawings.
10. Install new interior and exterior doors as specified on architectural drawings.
11. Install new Mechanical, Plumbing, and Electrical as specified on architectural drawings.
12. Install new plumbing fixtures as specified on architectural drawings.
13. Install new owner supplied waste receptacles.
14. Install new light fixtures as specified on architectural drawings.
15. Install new Luxury Vinyl Tile and base in specified locations on architectural drawings (The aforementioned shall be issued as a Floor Allowance)
16. Paint interior walls and ceilings where specified on architectural drawings.
17. Install new ceramic floor tile where specified on architectural drawings.
18. Install two new ADA accessible restrooms and shower stalls as specified on
architectural drawings.
19. Install new Boot Washing Station as specified on architectural drawings.
20. Install new stacked washer and dryer as specified on architectural drawings.
21. Install new stair rails as specified on architectural drawings.
22. Add directional signage from new restrooms to existing ADA restrooms.
